Inspiring Change Interview with Kristy Kilcup

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of being interviewed by a long time friend and former trainer Kristy Kilcup, founder of Version of You 2.0. I was the first interview in her Inspiring Change series, which she started as a way to inspire clients that might be feeling stuck in various areas of their lives.

Kristy has watched my health journey and all the obstacles I have faced, especially in the last few years, and reached out to me to see if I would be interested in sharing some of the mindset tools I used to not only help me through some incredibly difficult times, but also how I was able to remain positive in the face of some life changing and often scary moments.

I haven’t written about my challenges much on my blog in five years, however I have been sharing on Instagram and Facebook and moving forward will share more about what I have gone through and hopefully share techniques that you could use to help you through difficult times in your lives.

In addition to talking about some of my story, I shared a concept I call a Reality Check. About a week before this interview I had what I can only call a download message where I saw this diagram that pulled many teachings I have learned over the years into this one easy to understand model. Its a type of check and balance that helps you live more in the present moment; with cues to help you identify if you are living too much in the future or the past as well as a gauge on emotional intelligence (EQ).

Travel Advice from The Travel Mammal!

I haven’t known Jim (a.k.a. The Travel Mammal) very long but we have become great friends in only a few months. Sometimes it actually feels like I have known him for years to be honest. As you will see in the vlog he created for me below, he is hilarious. I laugh every time I talk to him! I am a strong believer that people come into your life at a certain time for a reason and that is definitely the case with him

Infinite Possibilities with Sylvain Renaud

Sylvain and his wife Caroline are incredible people and I am very lucky to call them my friends! They are the type of people that you can sit for hours with having real, deep, thought-provoking and inspiring conversations. I first met Syl at a networking event when I was doing my event planning business full time. It was a natural connection because he is a very talented videographer so we were in the same industry. We worked together a few times and it didn’t take long for me to become great friends with him and his beautiful wife. Anyone that knows these two, know they are pretty much the sweetest couple ever! I adore them.
